Be careful of gloves... While plastics/rubbers are a type of insulator, they can cause static as well. Recently opened a box from eVGA with a 960 in it, GPU wasn't in an anti-static bag, but inside a plastic clamshell housing. That thing was nothing but a static inducing whore, actually held the plastic near a running faucet to see how bad it was, and it caused the water stream to bend significantly.
