Default WD Caviar Raid Edition

Im considering getting one of these and another one later on to form a raid. Can anyone possibly tell me why i shouldnt go for this particular drive and maybe something else?

dunno what the difference is between a raid edition and a normal version as the normal one will do raid just as well tbh. Only thing is that the normal version might be abit cheaper and the "raid edition" is a gimmic to make u spend more. I like seagate and western digital, but they are all very similar

I guess that is in NZD? That works out to $125USD, and that is still really expensive for a 160gb drive. The whole "raid edition" is a gimic.

I wondered if it was just a gimick, which is why I asked here first before buying. In that case I will take the normal version, as it works out abotu $10 cheaper
