Water cooling

Okay so heres the problem I have. My friend brought over his rig to try to get water cooling to work in it and we are having a **** of a time getting it to work. What it does is it blinks this blue light and won't start the system or fans that came with the kit. I think the problem is a low psu amount he has a 480 w psu and I think it needs to be a tad higher. What do you all think?

Kk nvm we got it working plus we got it working but my friend spilt some of his coolant and was wondering if he could use strait water for now or mix something other than that.

Use distilled water, never tap water, and if you do, make sure you add some kind of algecide, either antifreeze, or copper sulfate.

I use distilled water mixed with a copper sulfate additive to keep anything form growing in my loop.
