I have been googling, researching the best introodution to water cooling my CPU only. Now I have a headache and I'm no closer to knowing where to go!! Thermaltake Big Water systems look good but the reviewes are generally bad! Koolance starts at $300 with the external system, CPU block and block fastener. I love my E8400 but it is a hot little SOB!!! I would like to run it above 4.2 ghz which it will do on my 680i Evga board but it will soon catch on fire without serious cooling intervention! I need a Water Cooler Yoda pleeeez!!!

Edit: I'm thinking I'm going with this for a starter kit. What do you think?

Do not lap a water block.

They are already as flat as they are going to get, and others are bowed from the factory, and lapping them can ruin their performance.

A cpu is fine but dont touch a water block.
