I know that was a stupid question, But hey, I'm a n00b!

Another... This is the video card i have in my build

NCIX.com - Buy XFX GeForce 8800GTS 500MHZ 320MB 1.6GHZ GDDR3 PCI-E Dual DVI-I HDTV HDCP DIRECTX10 Video Card - PVT80GGHF4 In Canada.

And then there is this one that is like another $20

NCIX.com - Buy XFX GeForce 8800GTS XXX 580MHZ 320MB 1.8GHZ GDDR3 PCI-E Dual DVI-I HDTV HDCP DIRECTX10 Video Card - PVT80GGHD4 In Canada.

What's the difference, one is at 500MHz and the other is 560MHz. Do you think its worth the extra $20?

I've heard some stuff about Corsair RAM. Is the RAM i have in the build worth the extra $70?

NCIX.com - Buy Crucial Ballistix Tracer DDR2 PC2-8500 2GB 2X1GB DDR2-1066 CL5-5-5-15 Dual Channel Memory Kit W/ LED - BL2KIT12864AL1065 In Canada.

The difference is not worth the extra $20, because you can overclock it yourself, to that speed, for free.

You don't need those tracers. Just get these:
NCIX.com - Buy Crucial Ballistix PC2-6400 2GB 2X1GB DDR2-800 CL4-4-4-12 240PIN Dual Channel Memory Kit - BL2KIT12864AA804 In Canada.

This is the one I got, and they're awesome!

Killer interface cards are suspose to lower your ping correct? I don't have the best internet, no i don't have dial up. And my pings are around the 400 mark. It could be the crappy computer I'm on, or my internet just sucks.

Computer im on right now.
504MB RAM (says in the DxDiag)
Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU 2.60GHz
Windows XP
RADEON 7500 64.0 MB
Realtek AC97 Audio

My brother told me to go to speedtest.net and this is what i got

The ping is good in the test, but when i go to play a game.. It jumps around from 100's to the 600's... its never constant.

Yea i would like Vista, since the newer games are coming out for Vista, but i would also like XP, because it doesn't take like 800mb of RAM..

I'm also very interested in the looks of the computer.

But from what you made it looks, from the specs, like a very good computer, for my little knowledge in computers.

I'm wondering if someone can push me towards a website with a good selection of gaming computers that i can customize, and see what i can do right, and wrong. That can show me a price too. Because im pretty tight(cheap).

Thanks for your responses.

Edit: I would like an interface card to help with my ping. It's around the 400's most of the time. And everyone complains that i lag. But i don't feel it. But if it doesn't do anything, then i guess i don't need it.
LOL, YOU DON'T GOT FIOS!!! HAHAHA!!! SLOW POKE DSL MAN!!! MWAHAHAHAHA!!!.... Srry... lil hyper.

Ok, sweet THANKS, i just saved $50.

For a monitor, I'm looking at a 20"-22"

I've picked out this

NCIX.com - Buy Acer AL2216WBD 22IN Widescreen LCD Monitor Black 1680X1050 700:1 5MS VGA DVI-D Monitor - ET.2216B.0D0 In Canada.

But i found it cheaper and a price match was made so i got it for $20 cheaper.

And for a DVD drive? What about this?

NCIX.com - Buy Samsung SH-S182 DVD+RW 18X8X16 DVD-RW 18X6X16 DL-8X DVD Writer IDE Lightscribe Black OEM W/ Software - SH-S182M/BEBN In Canada.

I think i've asked almost every question a person could ask now.

Thanks for your help... There isn't a way i can thank you enough without giving you any money or things =)
