I really want to start messing with vista but I wanted to ask a quick question. Can I just:

1)Buy another hard drive.
2)Install Vista to that hard drive
3)Just change hard disk boot priority in the bios when I want to boot to xp or vista?

I have everything running great right now and don't want to mess anything up. Will it cause any problems to do this? This way, if drivers suck for a while etc.. I have my nice xp copy running in the same machine on my raid array that I can switch to to play games. Thanks for the advice.

yeah im dual booting vista and xp.. its so easy, its pretty much just installing them except in different partitiions.

I suggest using this program called "Partition Magic" to create partitions..

@alexsabree = You might want to PM AMD6415, he's having troubles "dual-booting" XP and Vista. Maybe you should drop him a line... :)

I have Partition Magic, however, it's the Norton version :(

Thanks so much for the quick reply guys! I'm going to go ahead and get another drive and start messing with vista. Then once everything is stable and all good, I'll install vista on my raid array and use the new drive for storage. Thanks again.
