We'll need to know what motherboard it has; you can use a program like CPU-Z to find that out CPUID

I can't really find much on that board, do you know if it has PCI-Express slots? or AGP?

Also do you know how many watts your power supply is?

Since he's running a quad core, i doubt it'd have an agp slot; most likely it will have a pci-express slot.

My question is, why are you upgrading your video card? Does your old video card (i'm assuming integrated) not support your new monitor? Or do you want to play games?

If you want a decent gaming card, you'll most likely also need to upgrade your power supply.

edit: ^ just saw that msg, and yes, there's a pci-express slot!

Well this one is a bit above $150, but it's DX11 and pretty good. A 5770

Or if you want to save some money there's the 5750, which is the card below the 5770.
