Video card upgrade

Is that particular xfx 7600 gs better then the 6800ultra that i posted? and why does the 6800ultra have 1000 mem clock and the 7600gs only 533 ? Also would my socket 754 3000+ slow down anything when i would play games? For the future what is the best processor i can get for this socket, i dont see any on newegg.

6800ultra is better than 7600GS, but the one u posted is 6800xt.

The 6800xt has higher mem speed and 256-bit memory Interface, but 7600GS has more pipes and higher clock speed.
I would say the 7600GS is equal or little bet better than 6800xt
