Default Video Card selection

Due to some shortage of models at local stores I come to decide among following:

BFG GeForce GTX260 MaxCore 55N OCX
GigaByte GeForce GTX275 896MB (stock clock)
Sparkle GTX275 896MB SXX275896D3-VM (stock clock)
Sparkle GTX275 1792MB SXX2751792D3-VM (stock clock)

All of them are almost the same cost, except the 1792 version which is slightly more costy.

Which one would be better choice??

Default Re: Video Card selection

out of those 4, i would go with the gigabyte gtx 275.

if the first 3 cards cost around the same, i would just eliminate the gtx 260 from your choices because you say a 275 will cost almost the same.

then that would leave the 2 275's in the middle, of which id go with the gigabyte over the sparkle.

for the last card, the sparkle gtx 275 1792mb, i would only go with that card if it only cost a little bit over the other 275s because youd be paying more for the extra vram that it has. you will only begin to see some benefit of this if youre playing on a monitor with a big resolution.

otherwise, i would still just go with the gigabyte 275.
