Default Video Card Scale - 7600?

My current graphics card has basically died on me so im in the market for a new one. I had an NVIDIA 6600GT which worked well for me until it went.
I found another 6600GT for $220 (AUD) but there's a 7600GS for only $245 though without TV/DVI... not that i actually know what that is. I read through the video card scale stickied here but it doesn't mention it. So where would it fit in?

I think that that card is a little better than a 6600gt, but definitely not as good as the 7900gt. (i'm not sure though, someone back me up). I'd personally get a 6800gs to hold you over until the next wave of cards comes out, which should be sometime soon.

7900's are the best out right now (for series) but the 7600 has more pipes and better memory clock... a general compasion is here...

I would suggest the 7600 out of the 2

Dell 4K S2817Q / Logitech Z-680 / Func MS3 Mouse / Corsair K70 LUX rgb
NZXT Source 530 / i5-7600K / Corsair H100i v2 / ASRock Z270 Extreme4
SM951 M2 256GB / 850 evo 1TB / Seagate 2TB / WD 2TB
2x16GB Vengeance LPX DDR4 3000 / evga Classified GTX 980 ti / Seasonic M12II 850W

Unfortunately the place im using doesnt list any 6800's though ill probably browse around a little. I dont want to spend too much money probably keep it under $300 so i dont think i can get anything like a 7900
