I have another question. I've noticed that there are several Brand names on this card. For instance, I see there is a MSI HD 7770 GHz version too. Are there multiple contracts that Radeon has with several different companies? Just curious if there was any difference between AMD, MSI, etc.

There are different manufacturers that rebrand reference cards to resell, and they also make custom coolers and PCB designs for other cards (like Twin Frozr for MSI).

They are all the same card, just different brands that offer different warranties and such.

I went to install the video card and found an issue. The card requires a 6 prong connection from the power supply. I do not see this type of connection from the pc. How do I get around this?

How many pins should the power adapter have? One four pin only is all I see?

Sounds like you don't have the necessary 6pin pci-e power. The 4pin is for the motherboard only. Your card may have come with a 4 pin molex to 6pin pci-e.

Unfortunately, it didn't. So I need to find a 6pin to 4pin adapter correct?

You need one of these except 6pin. There should have been one in the box that came with the card.

I've checked the box and unfortunately there is no adapter.

This is what I am after correct? Just the one four pin to a six pin.

Yes except the normal ones look like the one I linked. Two molex to 6pin.
