Which video card is better?

There really aren't that many differences between the 55nm and the regular one, so for that deal, I would go for it.

I would like to get this one maybe Newegg.com - XFX GX260NADFF GeForce GTX 260 Core 216 896MB 448-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card - Desktop Graphics / Video Cards but that means I need to get a new power supply that can handle it. Anything $80 or less?

That's pretty cheap for XFX GTX260 216 core, you might want to get a XFX 4870 1GB, just because your res might not work as well with the GTX260. You can get a Corsair 650TX for $95, it's worth the extra $15.

You can get by just fine with the 550vx if you don't want to get the 650tx. I am running 2 4850s in crossfire, an overclocked dualcore, 4 gigs of ram, 2 hard drives 2 dvd burners and a wireless card all on a 550vx.

Then again the price difference isn't that big.

Err, Maybe I'll stay with the Radeon 4870? I am so confused. Basically its either the 4870 with the current power supply I am getting (Newegg.com - CORSAIR CMPSU-550VX 550W ATX12V V2.2 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Compatible with Core i7 Power Supply - Power Supplies) (550 watts)(maybe I will get the 650tx). Or I get the GTX 260 Core and get a different power supply.

Like zmatt said, the 550 should should be alright for the 260.

I am building a computer from scratch, So I still have to buy the power supply. I might go with the 650tx though. And is it true the GTX 260 might not run me resolution as well as 4870? Maybe I'll get GTX 260....................
