All these boards can be found at http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...68310557+1067920130&Submit=ENE&SubCategory=48 if any more info is needed.

I decided on my Mobo as a Asus A*n32-SLI Deluxe, along with the (fx60 or 64x2 4800+) and have to get some video cards to use in SLI mode. They all basically cost the same amount, I am not that much into OC the pc. Sometimes I let the Asus boards OC for me. Also is ther anythign like ATI Tools for Nvidia products? The free game would be a plus . . .

eVGA 512-P2-N575-AX Geforce 7900GTX 512MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16 Video Card

two of them.. the very last one

yeah the ATI tools equivilent would be Rivatuner

Thank you for such a fast response, I will order them when I get home. I was thinking the same ones as your choice, but wanted a second opion on it.
I read that I can use HDR and AA effects at the same time in Oblivion with the ATI drivers, just a thought that I will have to kick around my head while on the newegg website.

But if I was going to use ATI cards which then would I select.

Now there are 3 specials on the following boards one is Lifetime warrenty, a free mobo that I can probally resell, and 50 dollar rebate. Same as first post the cards all almost the same cost.

And can be found here for more info...

I have enuf to spend and If I feel that I can find reason or doing so, I just do.

I won one fo those scratch off tickets awhile back, and I get $1000 every week for doing nothing, till I die.

My last PC build was wehn I was getting ready for Morrowind, so I figure that its time for a new build for Oblivion.

Only sad thing is that I will probally be upgrading to the Vista, intel curose, ddr3 and dx10 video cards when all 4 become availiable.

So this stuff will be used a s a backup machine, probally less than a year and a half.
Well Ill probally take out 3 of the 4 HD's unless there's some drastic 6GBps transfer rate by then.

how much did you win at the scratch off? holy crap... send some money this way :D lol. Out of the ATI cards... nothing.. evga is better than all of them in my opinion.

from the ati cards you listed i'd get the SAPPHIRE 100149SR Radeon X1900XT 512MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16 Video Card - Retail . the 7900gtx is a lot more expensive so don't expect performance like it. for a value singl slot solution, the x1900xt is pretty good.

Thx again all, Im going to stick with the nvida chipset card

These are going to be the last of the dx9 cards so I want to get the best that there is.

OK, so
(2) eVGA 512-P2-N575-AX Geforce 7900GTX
512MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16
Cards it is...

AMD Athalon 64 FX60
ASUS A8N32-SLI Deluxe
(4) 500GB seagate drives, 7200 w/16MB
PC Power 850w Power Supply

Now I just have to find the right (2GB) ram for this machine.
I'm thinking OCZ...any thoughts before i place the order for these items in about 16 hours.

Yea I thougth it was pretty cool to win that also it took
15 sets of numbers that gave me $1,000 a week for life!

They have another which pays out $5,000 a week for the rest of your life, I play that also now, but I dont think my luck is that good, lol...
