Vid Card Decision...

What graphic card do you suggest I get with a 6600, as well as the value vs. performance of the card ? Currently leaning towards 7950GT ASUS cuz it kick *** but half of 8800's.

anyways what is your suggestions ?

The 7950gt can play anything out right now on high settings and newer games will run great on it too for a while.

If you do have the money for a 8800 (either one can play anything out high settings easy), then i would go with one (actually i did ). But they arn't necessary and alot of ppl are still buying dx9 cards.

Just spend your money on a good DX9 card (such as the 7950GT) and save some money until Vista is out and there are more Dx10 cards to choose from.

7950 is a great card, ive had my 7950GT 512mb for about 3months now and ive played all my games on max settings no problem.

Currently playing Call of duty 2 on max settings and battlefield 2142 on max aswell, and i get good FPS, oh and the card is silent.
