Default Very first build, please comment and revise if needed

Well, I've decided that it's time that I need a new computer. Since Conroe's coming out soon, AMD prices will drop down significantly and it'll be a great time to build a computer. I hear August is the best month to order from Newegg, not sure if that's true or not.

Here's my build:

It's going to be a gaming computer. Are there any changes you guys would make? Or is there anything I can do it improve on it? My budget's around $1,200 (right now it's $1,356, but hopefully when Conroe comes out it'll be under $1,200). Thanks in advance.

74gb HDD for a gaming machine? you must be kidding thats not very big for a gaming machine, id get at least 200GB or you will find the 74GB one fills very quick, ive got a 300GB seagate in my new pc and thats more than enough for me.

The rest of your build looks good to me

get a couple of decent sized Sata drive and put them in RAID. That will give you the performance of the Raptor, but double/triple the storage depending on your drive size...

How much would that cost? I don't really know much about that, so I just might go with this:

Everyone seems to like it.

that'll work... nice 16MB cache... good size for storage... and cheaper than the raptor... Good choice

So would you say it's good overall? No adjustments that I need to make? Is the part choice good?

Do I need to get any coolers or something? Or upgrade the fans?

if you are thinking of OC'ing, then I personally might get and after market cooler. I like Zalman myself... but Arctic Cooling makes some good ones...
