UPS back up

So if I am to select a ups battery back-up, what size in watts should I be looking for?

My new build will have two hd 3870x2's, everything oc'ed, quad core when the 9900 comes out. So a relatively heavy system.

Just get a reputable brand like APC. Look over it and it gives estimations. Any UPC works. It's not like you will run off it. If the power goes out, you will probably shut down right away and it will be several minutes, any UPC can handle that.

Great, I will buy whatever is cheap (smaller wattage) then!

Either apc, or cyber-power. Seems many people use those.

Go for APC it comes with software monitoring of you ur system power usage.
