Default upgrading question..

so here's my deal, i want to take up more space on my desk. and there are 2 ways to do that. one is easy, one is a bit more complicated. i have a 19" right now, and would love to get a bigger monitor. I have like 300 bucks at the moment, and could either upgrade to a 22" for around 250 and either use my 19" as a second monitor, or move it over to my server. another option, is to get another 19" for like 180ish and run 2 19's. also what i could do is save up for a couple weeks more and get like a 24" and again use my 19" for a second monitor or pop it on my server.

the only thing holding me back from any of this is that my card, 8800gt 256mb, i'm not 100% sure if it will keep up with a 22" or 24" gaming on max res, max settings. so yeah, suggestions would be great.

I'd say upgrade the card then save for the next few weeks and get a 24"...

I agree, the 256mb of mem will not be sufficient at the resolutions the 22/24 will be running at.

hmm. so i'm thinking what i'll do is save for a while, and get a 24 and either a gx2 or a 9800gtx, or whatever the top of the line card is at the moment when i have the money to upgrade.
