Default Upgrading, Plz help

I am getting some new hardware for xmas and got a budget of around 500 bucks. I really want to get my pc up to speed with new and upcoming games.

I plan on upgrading my ram, graphics card and psu. there are links of what i will be getting.

CPU: Intel Pentium 4 3.00 GHz

MoBo: Intel D945GPM MicroATX

RAM: G.SKILL 2GB 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400)

what kind of system are you looking for? I'm assumign for gaming... it's not bad, but it's already dated with the core CPU/MOBO

the mobo isn't bad, and it will support up to a dual core 960 so you have some wiggle room, but not much.

but the parts you want are pretty good... good luck...

Looks good. You could OC that P4. I once overclocked a P4 3.0Ghz to 3.6 GHZ and it was very stable

it's a slightly slower version of the GT... a couple of pipes disabled, but unless your looking at benchmarks and wanting to push your system. the GS should do you for a while.
