What's the reason for this graphic card upgrade? Are you trying to play games on it? If not, it's not worth it.

I think its time to build a new computer and rather then sell your old system convert it into a file server so you can store all of your files on the network and access them through any computer added to the network

Assuming your cpu is socket 775, you can still hang on to that and buy a mobo, some ddr2 value ram, new psu, and a new graphics card pretty cheaply.
Newegg.com - GIGABYTE GA-945P-S3 LGA 775 Intel 945P ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail
Newegg.com - CORSAIR ValueSelect 1GB 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) Desktop Memory - Retail (get 2)
Newegg.com - SAPPHIRE 100166L Radeon X1650XT 256MB 128-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 HDCP Video Card - Retail
Newegg.com - HIPER HPU-4M480-PS ATX12V v2.2 480W Power Supply 100 - 120V AC cUL,TUV,CB,CE,FCC - Retail

$275 + ship and you've got a whole new pc able to play any game out there. Plus you can sell off a few of your old parts to make up some of the cash.

u should use it as a file server like saltynay says because its not worth gaming on that old systm, when ur new system can do the job way better
