ok, i have a dell and am looking to tranfer my aprts to a new mobo and case. my parts are:
6800gt nvidia 256mb pci-e video card
2 harddrives
1.5 gigs of ram (ddr sdram 2700)

If someone can give me a link to a good intel processor (perferably 150-200$, 3.0ghz)
that would fit into a good mobo (mobo about 100$).
If someone could find me a mobo and good processor, much help appreciated.
PS. mobo must be pci-e

If your a gamer, which you seem to be because of your graphics card choice, why don't you get an AMD processor?

I don't think you're going to find a motherboard that supports 2700 that's any good. I did a search on it on newegg and I didn't recognize 1 motherboard manufacturer.

yes it would. it supports up the pc3200 just to tell you, but your memoery will be running at pc2700

very sick, thanks for the help. ill proably buy the asus for 90$. though it seems that all pci-e mobos have 24 pin connector, and the case im buying is a 420 watt 20 pin conenctor, is there a adapter i could buy or do i have to buy a whole new psu?
