Haven't been into hardware for all that long but I haven't seen anything like this yet any ideas?

ok to make sure you get an intake or exhaust fan, when your fans arrive screw it on the case and if it's exhaust, flip it over o_o. and i have that soundcard. you do notice a difference in sound even on old speakers. also games feel more immersive because of the soundcard also

Yes some cannot be just flipped over O.o I almost bought a non reversable fan so how can you be sure it can be mounted on either side internet pictures are not always helpfull, they do not always say on the lables, and you certaintly can't open the packadge at a store....

most of the time, the side of the fan which has the arms holding the motor in the middle is the side which air comes out.
