Upgrading Graphics card, need suggestions

Hi, i built this computer about 6 months ago, and i need to upgrade the video card. I think thats the only thing that needs upgrading:
Q6600
4gb ram
im using a 8800GTS 256mb video card.
What would you suggest? the 8800GT, GTS, or 9800GTX? I dont really want to spend over $300 on the 9800GTX unless it is really worth it.

I got the 8800GTS G92. It is a great card and plays Crysis and all other games at highest settings and looks great. It can be OC'ed to perform as good as an 8800GTX or similar to the 9 series. But the prices of the 9800GTX are starting to really get lower, I'd suggest going with the newer technology so you can step up in the future for a GX2 or w/e. G92 is also getting cheap, around $220. So your call.
