ya this thread pretty much made me want a 260 216 instead of my original plan which was a 4870.lol
and the superclocked edition is only like 9 bucks more.

heres a very good review on it,got from a tiger direct review vid on utube
games are like on page 5 or sumthin

yeah. and i would sell it but i am thinking "why?" when i can crossfire another 4870 in awhile and destroy games...which this single does a pretty good job of.

So everyone agrees that the 260 216 is better in performance then the 4870? LOL this can get stressful! I am not understanding of all the tech specs of these cards so sorry to ask but I'm hoping your input can educate me too.

if it were me then i would get a gtx 260 core 216. i would put a equals sign in between the 4870 and the gtx 260 core 216. like so 4870=GTX 260 Core 216

but 2 of them wotn be faster then one hd 4870x2 where as 2 gtx 260s will be :P

not on my crossfire mobo, lol. a single 4870 is fast enough to play anything, two of them would be pretty massive (and useless ha ha).
