Upgrading gpu: HD4870, GTX280 or 260?

matt I was asking about 4850 x2 not 4870 x2. Why isn't there any reviews of the 4850 x2 and why isn't there more of a selection?

only sapphire researched the 4850x2, it explains why its a non-ref PCB at first, it might be the only one offered, such as the 3850x2

of coures thats just speculation, but it makes sense

The 4850X2 just released like last week. It takes some time for other company to release theirs.

ATI =/= Sapphire. Sapphire is Hong Kong based like most hardware companies and ATI is owned by the Germans (AMD). Although Sapphire is a big name in ATI cards.

The first one uses a reference cooler. The second one uses a non reference cooler. It probably cools better.

The second card has a huge cooler with copper heatpipes...cools much better.

Definitely get the blue one, it has a better cooler. That might be the Toxic version i think

cool. I finally decided to go with the 4870. If you look at my replies in this thread I think I changed my mind about 5 times! LOL

This has been the hardest **** decision ever!
