ahh ok so Ill leave the os in the old one, friends going to buy it so Ill just add that, honestly I've never moved 1hd to a new computer so reinstalling it is something I didnt know, thanks. It has basic windows family so I want to get pro for the new rig. never thought of a q6600 though. I do like the gtx series though, and Ive never had anything corsair. Ill make a list soon to see what I can do.

An 8800GTX would be a waste when an 8800GTS is just slightly worse for a much lower price.

drop 2 gigs of ram and get crucial tracers, around 99.99 (cl4-4-4-15)
loose the gts and get a 512mb 8800gt.

do you know how to program your mobo to run latency streams on your ram? cuz if you do i would go for 4gb of ram if not luke is right 2gb should be good for quite a while... idk why im asking this cuz i seriously doubt anyone here knows how to do that ... i dont i just heard about it

these cards are the same price but looking around alot of people seem to love the BFG, I was looking at the xfx only because of the warranty.

also any good Canadian sites were I can find look/find the crucial tracers 4-4-4-15? thanks for everything thus far.
