Okay so at the moment i have a a pretty good computer, but i have too much cash on hands atm and would like to spend em. What would be a good step / good steps from the computer i have atm? Specs =

Asus p5k (bearlake p35)
QuadCore Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 (clocked to 3ghz)
Gainward 8800gt 512mb
2x 2 GB DDR2-800 DDR2 SDRAM (A-Data)
NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT (512 MB)
Creative Audigy 2 ZS (SB0350) Sound Card(don't need a better one, using mainly headphones)
SAMSUNG HD501LJ ATA Device (500 GB, 7200 RPM, SATA-II)

Samsung SyncMaster 930B (Digital) [19" LCD]

if you got the cash 4870x2 but thats kindve pricey or 4870 or a 4850 but other than a sata II hdd and mabye vista your pretty much set.

no, don't get an ATI card, you already have two nvidia cards in SLI, just get better cards in SLI. depending on how much you have to spend, you could go with two 9600's, two 9800 GTX+'s, or if you have a lot of money even two gtx260 or 280s.

i think you should send it to me, your rig is fine, wait till nehalem and blow ur money on extreme processors and DDR3, coupled with watercooling

that'd be overkill I think. what he has now will be able to run anything for the next at least 4 yrs with a gpu upgrade

thresh.. a p35 chipset will not run SLi... that is out of the question

sell your 8800gt and pick up a 4870 or gtx260

or maybe even get a 750i ftw, and another 8800gt
