will all of this give me the bang im looking for in my computer to handle what i want it to do? do i need a new motherboard also?

If -this- is your computer then first and foremost you would need a new motherboard to handle everything except the fans and video card you posted, and that video card in the current system would be (I believe) bottlenecked by the current CPU. Actually on second look don't believe the current PSU could handle that graphics card anyway.

You are probably better off posting what budget you were looking to spend on upgrades, and what your preferences are (AMD vs Intel, ATi vs Nvidia) and let the Newegg virtuosos on these boards produce some awesome box for you.
