Default upgrade suggestions

Upgrading my rig. Graphics card mainly. But if I go top end graphics card should I upgrade processor and motherboard too

Can't really say without knowing what your current specs are.
If you can list your Motherboard, Processor, and Power Supply it would help.

8800gtx
900w power supply
xfx nforce 680i lt intel socket775 ddr2

i want a setup i can game on and destroy the likes of wow but still run new games as bf3 well

That rig cant "destroy" wow? You have to look at what settings you want to be able to play games like BF3 at, as they are very graphically intense. I have to build a new rig to play BF3 at max settings and my current rig is similar to yours. What are you willing to spend?

I didn't say my rig destroyed wow I said I wanted one that will. Looking for a CPU,motherboard,and graphics card upgrade. Looking for 500-600bucks

But ill settle for just gpu if my other parts are up to par. Bf3 I'd prolly want med-high
