After you get the RAM the next thing you buy should be 5.1 speakers. I bought some from creative and it's AMAZING. iTunes, games, everything is better in surround sound- and can tell which way I'm getting shot at from!

lol, you tell mr (Noob)zor. Anyway, I have never heard of Mushkin mate and I would of thought Corsair is better? Have you ever used that brand or just know from experience that its the better choice?

Thanks

Fact is, they're all good:

Mushkin, Patriot, Kingston, Ocz, Corsair, GSkill, Pqi, Crucial, Twinmos. You wont notice a big difference unless you overclock the ram.

Plus look at the specs on those 2 you listed and the Mushkins perform better than the Corsair. I'd listen to Apokalipse, theres a reason he has 6300 posts.

I don't like Corsair, because they like to overcharge people for RAM that's not all that great.
Mushkin has been known to be good though. that RAM will perform better, it has better timings. although it doesn't help much, but if you're not overclocking, then it is the better option.

the Corsair is more expensive and is a bit slower

OCZ, G.Skill and Mushkin are the best.

Crucial is also quite good.
G.Skill makes the best 2x512 sticks, OCZ probabbly make the best 2x1GB though.
look for Samsung TCCD's. they overclock well.

There is no 2x1GB TCCD or BH-5 RAM.

yeah that's why G.Skill's 2x1GB sticks aren't as good. they have excellent 2x512MB RAM, which has the TCCD's
