As the title says, I'm not upgrading my current heap until September, but this is what I have planned so far. I will overclock, but I'm not willing to pay the extra cash for SLI or Crossfire as I don't think it's worth it. No set budget. I just want the best bang for the buck. Any thoughts or suggestions?

PSU - Corsair 520HX - $119.99 ($20 MIR)
MOBO - BIOSTAR TPower I45 - $169.99
CPU - Q6600 - $195.99
GPU - HD 4850 - $199.99
RAM - Patriot Extreme Performance 4GB - $83.99 ($15 MIR)

$769.95 ($35 MIR)

$734.95 after MIR

Ahhhhh. Forgot a new cooler. I'm blind there. Any ideas?

finally someone who thinks sli is waste :)

mobo is good, but dw bout planning now too much will change, justr keep an eye out for new good components

Yes SLi is a waste, and nVidia boards are pretty crappy too!!

I see you're buying from Newegg:

Get these instead:

Get an Asus P5Q Pro or Asus P5Q-E instead of what you have right now....
Get a PC Power and Cooling s610 for $90 instead...
Get the 4gb Patriot Viper's instead..

Good coolers to consider:

Xigmatek Rifle
Arctic Freezer Pro 7
Core Contact Cooler Sunbeam

prices are going to change and thats about it. I don't think there's anything super new scheduled to come out. maybe a new amd proc but i dont' think too much.
