Default upgrade parts

im planning on upgrading the first computer i build,,all i need are these, what do you think and also what would be a good hard drive erasing software, one that will erase everything so i can start over from an empty HDD

As for erasing software, just do a full format when you install windows XP.

looks great, whats your current pc specs, and i would go with ddr800 crucial, much cheaper, and the ddr800 wil lrun at speeds up to 1300mghz.
