everything is very good but the video card could use an upgrade

No, if anything it could use a downgrade becuase you'll want a DX10 card in the near future. His card is fine becuase he can use it to step-up to an 8600 Ultra or 8800GTS later on when the new cards hit full force.

PLus that card is still very fast, I should know as I own one.
