I don't think that mobo would work with that GFX card, seeing as it's crossfire, which is exclusive to ATi. Just get a DFI Lanparty UT-D.

Get an ATI card if ur gettin crossfire... personally i'd dump the GTX for a X1900XTX but thats me.... had a Nvidia card.... never gettin one again.... should have stuck with ATI in the first place but hey... **** happens.....

Suggestion, you could probably save a few bucks if u get a opty 165 with watercoolin and just OC to the FX speeds and higher. Just my opinion again so w.e u want

Yeah itd really be pointless to get a crossfire board with an Nvidia card.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131540
for the Mobo.
Also, I think you should get a sound card, since this is going to be the ultimate gaming comp right? Get the X Fi Xtrememusic or Audigy 2 ZS.

don't worry about the people saying get a crossfire board with a nvid card, plenty of people have SLI boards with ati cards in them. but i would og with the x1900xt cause it has 48 shaders. more future-proofing so your comp will last longer. also seeing as your gona overclock what type of cooling are you going to get?

don't get crossfire unless you are using it because the dodgy chipset will hurt you. if you are getting an nVIDIA card than stick to the NF4 chipset. don't bother with the FX-60 unless you have extreme cooling and EXTREME overclocking in mind you won't really see much benefit from the FX-60 over say an opteron 180.

umm.. then wouldnt it be worth it to get a SLI board instead of a crossfire??? i mean crap, your wasting 80 bucks if you do that.... get a sli board or non sli board.. but its pointless to get a crossfire board with a nvidia gpu

I agree.

Why spend 200% for two video cards and get 30% increase in performance if you are lucky.

Besides, you can mod the Ultra-D to SLI. This appears to be a fairly simply process.

http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/show...ht=ultra-D+mod

From my research, it appears to me that ATI is still having major problems with their drivers. I have used nVidia cards and drivers for years and have never had any problems with them.

Also, nVidia cards have 24 pipelines.
