Why do they put a P4 connector on an AM2 mobo? P4 is meant for PENTIUM 4 CPUs, does MSI not realize that AMD╘ Intel ?
I mean, now I can't find a reasonably priced PSU that has one!

This would have probably been answered in the other thread, no need to start a new one. I take it you are referring to the additional 4pin 12V motherboard power supply? You can plug the 8pin supply from the psu into them, the 8pin 12V supply is essentially just two 4 12V supplies.

I think 4 pin is pretty standard. all my amd cpus have had it..
