not really...if the comp is in the other room or in mahine room. its good to have in those situation. but that is in fact, this switche's cable is long enough to reach to ur desk. if its wireless, its most likely useful than wired version.

Well it's not wireless, you could see the wire in one of the pictures. It looks like it may be able to reach to another room, but it has to be very very close. I don't see the point of it either way.

Anyway, techie gizmos aside, this this is borderline moronic. I actually had a friend who had one, and she hated it. Every time it got bumped or she wanted to move it, it would try to turn on or off the computer. Needless to say, it was quickly crushed under wheels and not spoken of again.
