Get a cheaper Graphics card, ditch the blu-ray, BUT you should definitely get Windows 7 Pro OEM, it's got a lot more features, including Windows XP mode, very useful if you need to run older applications.

Why? He wants to watch bluray, and if he is going to be watching bluray on this comp, his monitor is obviously high enough resolution to warrant buying that graphics card.

Just wondering is this a bad mobo?

I'm not too familiar with what to be looking for with mobos other than compatibility so I'm not sure if this screams cheap mobo or is the other one I picked just expensive.

To save on scrolling, here was my original choice.
