I need some good reads and reviews of newer liquid cooling products. I will be using this for my new Conroe (probably e6600, we'll see) system.

I assume current 775 water blocks will work with Conroes, no doubt about that.

So yeah, please get me some good guides and articles and shtuff, I need to learn more about this stuff. My engineer friend specializes in heat exchange at oil refineries, so I have some good references, but I'd like some from people who specialize in computer liquid :cool:ing <- lol

I already read the one on [H]ardware, but it looks old, seems to be from 2004.

Anyway, thanks in advance. :)

Edit: Damnit, stuck this in the wrong section. Feel free to move it.

Give me a second. (Note; i have 417 bookmarks to go through. It may take a minute or two.)

Edit: I included two stores (first two links) directly, and one of the XS threads i included is a bunch of stores. [Aside: Just now realizes how little links he has on watercooling and how ironic it is that he knows a bunch]

I'll throw you one thing I know of.. the Apogee is much better than the Storm Rev.2 when it comes to Price : Performance ratio..

The storm is more restrictive to flow than the Apogee, and even usualy has an 1c degree upwards from the apogee, although being the more favorited block, and much higher priced.... it has its own benefits but if you'r looking for a price:performance ratio winner, go for the Apogee, thats what i'll be doing quite soon.

thanks to karpfish, i scored a pump and storm rev.2 for only 80 bucks. the only difference between the apogee and storm is 1c??

www.petrastechshop.com

they carry some of the hardest to find water cooling parts at awesome prices.

The guys that work there are awesome, and i know them both personally.

My entire loop and my case were bought from them and they have a perfect 10 on reseller ratings :)
