Ok, I need your help to make a $1,000 build that includes everything I'll need to use and run the computer (I also want a TV tuner and the OS to be XP MC). I just can't afford anything over $1,000. I can't afford anything over $1,000 because I'm 14, and I don't work. This is coming from saved up money (a few years worth...) :D

Ok, I made a post before on a build, but it went up to 3 pages, it went over budget, and I changed what I want it to do. Now to tell you what I want out of the system. I am into picture and video editing. I also enjoy gaming. I currently play World of Warcraft, but I'm thinking about getting some better games (shoot 'em ups). I want this computer to be as quiet as possible. I also want the computer to be very upgradable.

Thanks for your time.

P.S. Don't worry about the speakers, unless you can fit it in. I have a computer with speakers, but the speakers are never used and I have headphones, too.

x2 3600 (or the highest brisbane that fits into your budget)
biostar tforce 550 am2 mobo
bfg (or evga if cheap) 7900gs
2gb decent ram
lg super-multi dvd/cd
fortron 400w psu (pciex)
western digital 160gb hdd
a case (cooler master centurion 5 is cheap and quiet)
windows xp

there's no way you cant do that for under 1K.

u could fit a 8800gts 320mb in that build, but then u can also get a corsair 520 and a evga 590 or that foxconn...

i reckon so....
i didnt do any pricing, i just put in there what i knew would be under a grand.
that build is probably closer to like 5-7 hundred.

^ actually 575$... thats my dream build right there... except mine will have a 590 an a 9 series with an fx-80

look at my build page. Everything was 1500. Drop the monitor and a set of ram and you should be close to 1000. if still over, drop video card down to 7900.
