1. Monitor or TV - somewhere from 27" to 32" [1920 x w.e; 1080/24p; 120Hz (hopefully), decent pic, sound not necessary.]

2. Router - need one for a decently big house, connection must ride all the way from the top floor (basic townhome) to the basement [hopefully futureproofed with the "n" lol]

3. Adapter - connection with the router above, decent and consistent reception

Any... suggestions?

I changed scopes.
I want a LCD HDTV - down to two models

Samsung 32" LN32B640 [1200 CAD]
or
LG 32" 32LH40 [900 CAD]

Samsung:
profiles: TV & Video: Televisions: Samsung 32" 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV** (LN32B640) - Best Buy Exclusive | Best Buy Canada Web Store

[select specifications at the tabs]

and for LG:
TV & Video: Televisions: LG 32" 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV** (32LH40) - Best Buy Exclusive | Best Buy Canada Web Store

[again select specs at the tabs]

or you can use compare option.
w.e

The LG beats Samsung via XD Enging [30bit] comparedto 18bit of samsung, and 2.4 ms rt compared to 4ms of samsung

and the rest are similar stats.

Why is the samsung priced higher...

Edit:
- Samsung has 80,000:1 contrast ratio v. LG's 70,000:1
But that doesn't justify 300 dollars of money 0.o
