Default Thoughts? Changes?

Well i've decided to build a pc for the first time ever! This will be interesting..but anyways i've chosen these components (btw, i already have a keyboard, mouse, speakers, and OS)

Case: Coolermaster CAC-T05 Centurion 5 Aluminum ATX Tower Case 5X5.25 1X3.5 4X3.5INT SILVER-BLACK No PS - DirectCanada

Monitor: Acer X193WB Black 19IN Widescreen LCD Monitor 1440X900 2000:1 5MS VGA - DirectCanada

PS: Corsair VX550W 550W ATX 12V 41A 24PIN ATX Power Supply Active PFC 120MM Fan - DirectCanada

Hard Drive: Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 250GB SATA2 8.5MS 7200RPM 16MB Cache Hard Drive 5YR MFR Warranty - DirectCanada

Video Card: Bfg Geforce 8800GT Oc 512MB GDDR3 PCI-E Dual DVI-I Hdcp Hdtv Out DIRECTX10 Video Card - DirectCanada

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E7200 Dual Core Processor LGA775 2.53GHZ 1066FSB 3MB Retail Box - DirectCanada

Memory: Crucial Ballistix PC2-6400 2GB 2X1GB DDR2-800 CL4-4-4-12 240PIN Dual Channel Memory Kit - DirectCanada

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-P35-S3G ATX LGA775 P35 1333FSB 1PCI-E16 1PCI-E1 5PCI SATA2 Sound GBLAN Motherboard - DirectCanada

TOTAL(before taxes): $814.05

Are they any good...should I get anything different? There's only four more days before I lose the instant savings and MIR's which would suck. So any input right now would be great! ..and if there's any suggestions..please don't pick anything thats too costly, i only have around $800 to spend.

Oh and one more thing, has anyone used Direct Canada? Most likely not since most of you live in the US but there's no harm in asking. If you have, are they reliable? I've tried to look up reviews for them and I've only found a couple. Still haven't decided if i should go with them or Ncix..I'd be saving quite a bit if i use their service though.

Why not go with the E8400 and cut back somewhere else if you need too?

Looks great.. I don't know if DirectCanada sells Dual-Sided Ballistix like NCIX does...

e7200 is fine.. its just a e8400 thats half the cache and a little slower... nothing a little OC can't fix.. and cache doesn't matter much anyways

Try to get the cheapest 8800gt thats not overclocked an do it manually (unless you want that Life-Time Warranty and Step Up Program from BFG really badly)

EDIT: nvm on the 8800gt tip, that site was loading slowly so I didn't know about the 40$ MIR which makes it the cheapest 8800gt on that site..
I do not accept help requests and/or deleted threads/complaints by PM, Profile or IM/Email. Just ask on the forums! Also, I do have Lockerz invites if you want them, feel free to PM me your email if you want one :0

If I help you, or you just like what I said, rep me by clicking the

.. But things don't go according to plan! My Actual Rig, 2009:
