I've got XP installed as well as Vista on my system so I may just play on that, thanks for all the advice and seeing as I got £175 today that should cover the majority

and i think gtaiv will run decently. like meh settings and a meh res.

Haha, I'm running WaW at meh settings and it dosn't look too bad just gets a bit jerky when these 1000 japs running at you

Just to epically bump this thread, I've come accros a 9800GT 512mb for a few more quid, is it worth it?

How much more? HD 3870's big benefit back in the day was that is was 55nm, almost as powerful for a lot less

You sure did, the 8800GTS I swear was £95 but I think they made a mistake or it was in some sort of offer becuase now it's £129.99
