Default Thinkin about a new motherboar what do you think

this is what I have right now
this is what I plan on getting
I know it isn't anything much but is it better than what I have right now? I am looking at SLI everyone is telling me that is the way to go so I am just looking at some cheap motherboards.
Also are motherboards as hard as everyone says they are to change I am just planning on taking everything from my 1st motherboard and putting it all in the new one. Only going to get new motherboard,PSU, and 2 video cards for the SLI.
so will this motherboard be ok?

2 B old and wise U must 1st be young and stupid
Trinity ATX Mid-Tower Case, Blue neon, ASUS MOBO, Intel E8400 dual core @ 3.96GHz, 4GB RAM, 2 ATI HD 3870s Xfire, 74GB Raptor HDD w/XP, 320GB HDD w/Games, 250GB HDD w/ windows 7, 2TB external HDD, 750W psu, on a Panasonic 46" Plasma and 24" Gateway lcd as 2nd

SLI is a waste. Replacing your card with the new version each year will be cheaper... even more when you consider the extra $$$ for electricity.

If I were to upgrade, I'd get a more powerful PSU if needed for a new card.

Gigabyte make good solid value motherboards, so if you wanted SLi get that. But for the same price as SLI u can keep your mobo & get like a 7600GT, which would be a much greater improvement.

450W PSU is the minimum i would have to run everything with the 7600GT
