Thermaltake VM3000 SERIES TOWER two-pin connectors

Building a new pc. I bought the Thermaltake VM3000 SERIES TOWER. Trying to connect RESET SW, PWR SW, and IDE HDD LED two-pin connectors to the motherboard. The manual says to be careful about connecting positive to positive and negative to negative. Neither MB or

The colors are white blue, white orange, and white purple. Am I correct in assuming white is negative and the darker colors are positive. Thanks Don
