Default Thermaltake liquid cooling problems.

So, my friend gave me this Thermaltake liquid cooling system and he told me that if I could get the pump to work, he would give it to me for 60 bucks.

I'm not sure what is wrong with the pump, I hooked it up to this computer's power supply and it is just dead. I suspect that there might be a short, but I don't want to cut the cord open and try and solder it because it's not mine.

Is there something that I'm not doing right? I'm just hooking the 4 pin connector up to my power supply, then I turn on my computer. I tested the radiator out doing the same thing as a control test and the radiator works great.

Should I just buy a new pump? If so, where could I find one? Would it be worth it? If not, I'm just going to get one of those Zalman fan and heat sink cooling systems.
