If you can add maybe 50 dollars more you can get quite a few options. Heres what I got for 300, Newegg.com - SAMSUNG 2443BWX Glossy Black 24" 5ms Widescreen LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 DC 20000:1(1000:1) - LCD Monitors. Awesome moniter for sure.

If you wanna hope deals come back I believe there was a 24" Acer for about $250 during black Friday weekend. It was a decent model, I was going to buy it but I can never make up my mind about replaceing my crt.

This one is a guaranteed MVA panel, 280$ from walmart.

Walmart.com: SVA 24" Widescreen LCD Monitor, SK2400W-BD: Computers

I've been meaning to pick one of these up, but haven't had the time to.

I saw that deal, I was about to buy it. But I settled for the Acer 22" instead for $150 free shipping.

Thats because its recertified they just ship any they get after fixing them so the brand will be random and the quality will probably be equally varied.
