i have a pci slot fan....it was like $3 for 30 cfm 90mm one so i went for it
and it blows right on vid card

technically it's supposed to suck air from the video card and expel it through the back vents.

Rivatuner confirms the same speeds that GPU-Z provided as well. Right out of the box

they help substantially. but they are loud loud loud unless you have a fan controller.
