howdy...so I'm on dialup. I just finished tweaking my pics...I don't think ppl need any further additional how to guides right? :p. Besides I don't think I took enough pics for that, lol.

so...let's see what I have in the grab bag.

cheapo case that does the job for me! :) $50!

Athenatech brand
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811190082

It was a "new arrival" while I was shopping parts for my brand spanking new pc :D

It has a nice modern 400watt psu, case has nice flesh friendly edges, and there's a mobo tray...slides out, makes it nice and easy. 400watts is enough to power the entire midtower if you fully load it, with using 1 vid card and not overclocking. :p

It's rather plain though, I added the green fan and extra lights. I like the glowing case feet thing :)...ahem, I removed some of the silver accents. They were nice but they would have ended up being removed for other parts

oh and I added the temp/clock/hd lcd readout, that's what addes the big blue glow on the front....without it the power button adds it's own nice blue

Could you give me a newegg link to those lights on the bottom? I ran a little under budget on my build and I am using the rest of the money to "Trick it out" so to speak. They will look cool on my case too (Thermaltake Armor Jr. Black, 2 blue LED case fans installed, PSU has another blue LED on back).

Also, I am new so I have to ask, why is the forum so slow all of a sudden? Are they optimising the database or something?

hmm

I actually didn't buy those feet at newegg, though they sell them. They're only $9 (both places)...I bought them from a place I stumbled on that's I think is best for modding, Directron.com. It has what I call "wholesale" shipping. Make a large purchase and you'll see what I mean. I give them my thumbs up...links to both places

Just note...will have wires all over the place with these :) Sleeve em...or tuck em well

Ahh i see thats cool man, i like the little mods you did to it. At first glance i thought it was an aspire case cus i have one and it has a lcd temp display just about the same place as that case.
