Default A terrible situation...

I want the Athlon 64 x2 3800 processor, I just need a motherboard... but I don't want nVidia because of some traumatic event where a chipset killed my parents or some equally compelling story that probably isn't true...I also want a PCI express x16 on said motherboard. I've been hoping for an ABIT AX8 v2.0 to mysteriously appear in front of me, but that hasn't worked out so well. What's the next best thing?
