Default Temps for the X1900xtx

What are safe temps and what are the high limit Temps for CPU's, video cards, and also ambient?

Idle my video card is running at 61C and the ambient is 47C. My CPU is 35C and the M/B is 33C

I have a Tsunami dream case with three fans, my video card and cpu have stock fans and they are a X2 4400+ and a x1900xtx.

That just seems alot for almost idling video card. All i am doing is reading posts on the forums, no games or anything. So when i do start gaming with it what is the limit that i should watch out for.

Edit: Oh ya and i haven't OC'ed anything.

Your video running at 61C iddle is quite hot actually. For gaming i do think that it may get to 65 or 70 easily. Never let it get over 70 i would suggets. For the mobo and CPU, its fine.

Please consider the airflow regrading your graphic card. Probably some cables is blocking the airflow. Your case is absolutely fine.

Send a message via AIM to PZEROFGH

It is a beefier card and a power hungry one also, i would try to get rid of some cables around the video card. You shold also try to apply some AS5 to the core

The X1900's run hot, as long as you don't see artifacting, you should be ok.
so, umm, err yeah
