a high clocked e8400 is better in game then a q6600. and the xigmatek is extremely good for the price. as in top 5 coolers.

Ill go with Xigamatek, but what does paste do?

It acts as a thermal layer between the CPU and Heatsink

provides as a barrier between the metal hsf and metal cpu. it reduces heat.

the cooler will probably come with standard paste or tape but i recommend you buy mx-2
